Hallucinations

What should we do if we detect life out there?
There's no guide to alien etiquette.
Do we nod politely?
Shake their hands?
There's been no decisions on how to respond.

Can we even calculate the number of alien civilizations?
If the Universe is infinite, then it's a certainty life exists out there.

Another Earth?
What are the odds?
Are we really completely alone in the galaxy?


Everybody look skywards!
Can blind people hallucinate?
Do they see dancing monkeys,
Floating faces?
Or other strangeness?
Is there anything ever absolutely still?

Open your minds.
Let's go and look for the buried treasure in the open sky.
Let's find out more about who we are.
Where we come from.
And what we're meant to be doing.

Because right now my friends,
Face it, we're causing more problems than we're solving.
